After learning about scaffolding at a previous conference, the discussion now moves into learning differences among students. Instructors have to know what these may be, how they affect the classroom, how to adjust the classroom, and be able (using resources) to measure and evaluate students with varying learning differences.
At the conclusion of this period, the participant will be able to:
  • Articulate a basic understanding of learning differences.
  • Implement strategies to support learning differences.
  • Know where to find support resources.
